She has also gained experience in elder law while working as a law clerk at The Alona Cortese Elder Law where she handled different aspects of elder law, including drafting and executing wills and advance health care directives. She drafted research papers focusing primarily on the use of eminent domain and restoring blighted areas, as well as city planning tools in modernizing cities. Her interest in real property law and land use litigation eventually led her to the position of associate attorney with The Law Offices of Kenny Tan where she focuses her practice on various aspects of real estate law such as landlord-tenant litigation and real estate disputes.
